How Does it Work?
Wondercide's BioDefense formulation of Cedar Oil and silicic acid (melted quartz rock) dissolves the insect egg and larvae eliminating the next generation of arthropod. The aroma of Cedar creates a barrier of re-entry, making the treated area off limits to any flying insects,crawling pest or parasite. The aroma of cedar to insects is like that of ammonia to humans. All insects breathe through their bodies and close their breathing pores when they detect the aroma of cedar. It causes a flight response. If they can't evacuate the area, they suffocate themselves trying and die. BioDefense is a Non Toxic, immediate contact killer.
How Long Does it Last?
Like any pest control objective, it depends on the insect or parasite. For prevention & maintenance, this is the best repellent on the market. Spray under sinks, in pantry, closets, bathroom, laundry room, cracks & crevices or anywhere insects reside. Spray around windows and doors. With routine outdoor treatment using Wondercide EcoTreat, BioDefense will protect indoors for 3-6 months or longer. For parasite (flea, tick, bed bug, mite) control use BioDefense until the objective is achieved. Use often on pet beds to ensure elimination of flea life cycle as your pet comes and goes from your treated property. BioDefense has a reduced flash off rate (evaporation) and when confined to any roofed area, retains a lengthy residual. It's non toxic so you can't use too much. Approved for everyday use.

Home owners can easily initiate do it yourself treatments with the use of hand held compression sprayers or by using a non thermal ULV fogger for infestations.
