Saturday, August 1st, 2009

Hello San Diego! You are looking for non toxic flea control for your dogs and cats, and you keep finding it!  San Diego wins the Summer 2009 Award for the most Wondercide used in a local area.  You’ve provided the most Wondercide Reviews and product feedback too!  If you live in San Diego, California, consider yourself fortunate to be among so many people who truly care about their environment, their pets, and their children!

It’s amazing to talk to all of the “converted” users about the differences between traditional pest control products and Wondercide.   Folks from San Diego seem to really grasp the concept of treating the environment (your property) and spraying your pets down as needed…as opposed to putting drops on the kneck of your pets that resulted in one or both of the following: crazy side effects, ineffective results.

Houston Pet Talk on Wondercide

Saturday, August 1st, 2009

Houston is a city known as the Energy Capital of the World, but is also a progressive city where environmental and green initiatives abound.  It’s entirely possible for homeowners and pet owners to find local products that are new, natural and safe for the whole family.

With hot annual temperatures and high relative humidity, Houston is the perfect environment for pesky fleas, ticks and mosquitoes to breed and quickly take over our lives.  Of course, the huge water roaches Houston is famous for are a force to be reckoned with in their own right.  So, what do we do if we don’t want to use chemicals on our pets and the property where we live?   Sometimes it’s best to step away from a problem, look at it from a nontraditional perspective, and determine an alternative way to achieve success.  That is exactly what a group of local business women have done for green, cost conscious, pest control products.

Bed Bugs Facts

Bed bugs usually bite people at night while they are sleeping. They feed by piercing the skin with an elogated beack through which they withdraw blood. Engorgement takes about three to 10 minutes, yet the person seldom knows they are being bitten.

The bugs are efficient hitchhikers and are usually transported in on luggage, clothing, beds, furniture, and other items. This is a particular problem for hotels, motels and apartments, where turnover of occupants is constant. Bed bugs are small, cryptic and agile, escaping detection after crawling into suitcases, boxes and belongings.

Bed bugs can live in almost any crevice or protected location. The most common place to find them is the bed. Bed bugs often hide within seams, tufts and crevices of the mattress, box spring, bed frame and headboard.

Other common places to find bed bugs include: along and under the edge of wall-to-wall carpeting (especially behind beds and furniture); cracks in wood molding; ceiling-wall junctures; behind wall-mounted picture frames, mirrors, switch plates and outlets; under loose wallpaper; amongst clothing and clutter stored in closets; and inside clocks, phones, televisions and smoke detectors.

How do Bed Bugs Invade?

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

How do bed bugs invade a home?
Because bed bugs readily hide in small crevices, they may accompany (as stowaways) luggage, furniture, clothing, pillows, boxes, and other such objects when these are moved between apartments, homes and hotels. Used furniture, particularly bed frames and mattresses, are of greatest risk of harboring bed bugs and their eggs. Thus, one should carefully scrutinize and consider the history of any used furniture, particularly ‘street’ items so plentiful at the beginning and end of each academic year. Because they readily survive for many months without feeding, bed bugs may already be present in apparently ‘vacant’ and ‘clean’ apartments. Bed bugs can wander between adjoining apartments through voids in walls and holes though which wires and pipes pass.

The BED BUG Epidemic

You’ve heard the stories. You’ve read the news broadcasts. Did you ever think it would happen to you? Probably not, it’s just not something you really think about occurring in your house, or where you sleep. But trust me my friends, this is truly an epidemic. Every week or so we read of another outbreak at another school, or retirement home, or hotel. How do you control these Bed Bugs, everything you try just doesn’t work.

Well Wondercide is the remedy for all bed bug and mite problems. The suffocation and dehydration brought on by wondercide eradicates all insects in the home. This is the technology we need when fighting these ever-evolving pests. Not another useless pesticide or pest control company that costs and arm and a leg and provides no relief at all. Oh and don’t forget the fact that the chemicals they use are toxic and harmful to you, your children, and your pets.
