One of our Georgia customers had a horrible flea infestation after the last big rain! After reading about Wondercide and the many blogs/reviews of ecstatic customers, she went to wondercide.com to see what this new, amazing product was all about. Before long, her order was placed and shipped successfully! Uh, oh! UPS somehow lost the package (it still hasn’t been found). Upon contacting us via email, we handled the problem immediately, like any reputable online company would do. The following are excerpts from our email correspondence with the customer.

Friday Morning:
10:47 am Customer
Hello, I just called and left a message on your “Shipping” customer service line- but I wanted to make another attempt to contact you via email- perhaps a faster way. My order number is: XXXX, Placed 10-16-2009 Amt: $356 + change. The shipping Tracking Number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Was supposed to be received 10-21-2009 – Did not come. Did not come 10-22-09. Called UPS on 10-23 and they said that because it has not reached me by now it is considered “LOST” and that they cannot initiate an investigation until the “SHIPPER” (that’s you) contacts them and gets the ball rolling. PLEASE- HELP ASAP!! My house is INFESTED with FLEAS… We’re being eaten alive. NO JOKE.

11:11 am Wondercide
I am checking on this now and will get back with you today. Ups has been horrible lately with lost and damaged packages. If it is lost, we will need to send out another shipment. We have no control once the package is in their hands but apologize for the inconvenience to you. Will be in touch shortly.
Sent from my BlackBerry (while on vacation in Las Vegas)

11:13 am Customer
Thank you so much Stephanie. I too work for a company where the owner gets directly involved when situations like this arise. It’s a good sign of a reliable and trust-worthy company. I appreciate all of your assistance.

11:57 am Wondercide
Not a problem! UPS will have to investigate further. The package was scanned for delivery on the 21st but wasn’t delivered. It’s taken a few persuasive calls, but I have negotiated for Saturday Delivery so you can remedy the infestation immediately. We will refill and reship the package today at our expense. You will get the tracking info via email later today. Thanks for your patience!

12:02 pm Customer
Terrific! Thank you for rushing this! We are really excited about using your product! I did some background digging- and all the reviews that I’ve read about Wondercide are very very positive. You are my last hope- so I’m really excited to blast these little blood suckers!

Sunday Night:
7:53 pm Customer

Stephanie! Your product seems to be working wonderfully! We keep checking the dogs and they are still flea free!!! It’s truly amazing!! I also appreciate you expediting us a new order when our first one got lost. It arrived nice and early Saturday a.m. which was the day we had been planning to treat the house anyway so our plans did not get ruined!!! Thank you so much!!!

We have ZERO complaints about WONDERCIDE!!!! Again, thank you so much!!

Monday Morning:
10:37 am Wondercide
It’s great to hear that you have relief! I appreciate your feedback and staying in touch through all of this. That being said, would you mind if we share your experience in a blog or on the website? It really just helps people have confidence in both the product and the online purchase experience if they can read real stories by real customers.

4:08 pm Customer
Absolutely! Please let me know if you need me to give you any further statements that will help others in their decision of whether or not to use Wondercide. I stumbled upon your product through some basic “help” searches on google and someone raved about your product. So I dug deeper. I have never been so relieved to find that my investment in a product was not a bust. It was worth EVERY penny.

Thank you for all your support and communication. It’s very reassuring to a customer that the company is all that other’s say they are when their own CEO stays in direct contact with you and helps you directly. You could farm me out and you didn’t- so thank you so much. I’ll be a customer for life!

Both Evolv and BioDefense are contact kill solutions, meaning that the solution must come in contact with the parasite to kill it

Q. I am fogging my home with BioDefense and treating my pets with Evolv, but I have friends who come over with their dogs. Should they bring in any fleas will the product have enough residual effect to kill these?

A. For the friends that come over with pets that may have fleas, that’s a tough one. They either need to be flea free or allow you to spray them down. Both Evolv and BioDefense are contact kill solutions, meaning that the solution must come in contact with the parasite to kill it. BioDefense has a lengthy residual in roofed structures for common pest insects, but nothing “repels” parasites or has enough residual power to kill on an ongoing basis (even traditional pesticides don’t do that). If fleas are re-introduced into your home, it is likely you will need to spot treat as a follow up. You could also let the dogs play outside, not inside, and continue to do routine lawn control with EcoTreat which should eliminate the problem all the way around.

You are looking for non toxic flea control for your dogs and cats, and you keep finding it! San Diego wins the Summer 2009 Award for the most Wondercide used in a local area.

Hello San Diego! You are looking for non toxic flea control for your dogs and cats, and you keep finding it! San Diego wins the Summer 2009 Award for the most Wondercide used in a local area. You’ve provided the most Wondercide Reviews and product feedback too! If you live in San Diego, California, consider yourself fortunate to be among so many people who truly care about their environment, their pets, and their children!

It’s amazing to talk to all of the “converted” users about the differences between traditional pest control products and Wondercide. Folks from San Diego seem to really grasp the concept of treating the environment (your property) and spraying your pets down as needed…as opposed to putting drops on the kneck of your pets that resulted in one or both of the following: crazy side effects, ineffective results.

Thank you for your support San Diego! If you live in the local area, go by and visit A Pets Best Friend. They are avid users of many Wondercide products and offer it locally. On their site, you can also take the Dog Food Analysis Test to make sure you are feeding your pets quality pet food, not big box food. Tell Diane we sent you!

Sometimes it’s best to step away from a problem, look at it from a nontraditional perspective, and determine an alternative way to achieve success. That is exactly what a group of local business women have done for green, cost conscience, pest control products.

Houston is a city known as the Energy Capital of the World, but is also a progressive city where environmental and green initiatives abound. It’s entirely possible for homeowners and pet owners to find local products that are new, natural and safe for the whole family.

With hot annual temperatures and high relative humidity, Houston is the perfect environment for pesky fleas, ticks and mosquitoes to breed and quickly take over our lives. Of course, the huge water roaches Houston is famous for are a force to be reckoned with in their own right. So, what do we do if we don’t want to use chemicals on our pets and the property where we live? Sometimes it’s best to step away from a problem, look at it from a nontraditional perspective, and determine an alternative way to achieve success. That is exactly what a group of local business women have done for green, cost conscious, pest control products.

Understandably, pesticides were long thought of as the lesser of two evils. Most of us are familiar with the “mosquito trucks” emitting a fog of pesticides in the evenings. Many of us with pest control services are told the protocol is necessary and safe. In truth, we have long been warned of the hazardous effects of pesticide use in and around our homes, children, and animal companions. But, we certainly can’t have fleas on our pets or mosquitoes making a meal of our children. Recently, there has been an ever increasing amount of data on the side effects of these chemicals and it’s making local and national headlines. Stories related to pesticide use regarding Autism, ADD and ADHD in children, Alzheimer’s in adults, to illness and death of dogs and cats using topical flea & tick controls, make it all too obvious that it’s time we start asking the tough questions.

So what do we use? What can we do? Until recently, there weren’t any alternatives to traditional products like spot on flea and tick controls for pets, or home, lawn and garden pest control. Now, there is WONDERCIDE. It’s like pesticide, but wonderfully, not.

Wondercide is a proven, non toxic alternative to traditional, chemical pesticides. All of the products are certified Organic by the USDA, made with Human Food Grade Ingredients, and have a 100% insect kill rate within seconds. You’ve heard the old adage, “Treat the Source not the Symptom” and that’s exactly how Wondercide works. It is a biological control which eliminates the egg layer of the insect life cycle. Did you know that for every adult flea you see there are 95% more in egg, larvae and pupae stages? By eliminating 95% of the life cycle that will hatch in your home and lawn, you control the pest population and thereby protect your loved ones from invasion. It’s that simple.

You or service professionals can apply BioDefense™ ($35) indoors after cleaning. After lawn maintenance, spray the lawn, plants and vegetables with EcoTreat™ ($25) Organic Pest Control. Wondercide EcoTreat™ comes in a ready to use sprayer that attaches to your garden hose and is simply applied by watering your plants and grass. With over 500,000 mosquito misting systems and lawn sprinkler systems in the Houston Metro, EcoTreat Pro™ was formulated and approved for use in all of them. EVOLV™ ($25) Flea and Tick spray for pets kills fleas and ticks on contact. It can quickly be applied once a week or as needed for the dog park and other uncontrolled environments. Unlike other products, EVOLV contains a unique moisturizer that heals hot spots and relieves skin conditions, allergies, and constant scratching. On your next visit to the groomer, local pet store or veterinarian, tell them you read about Wondercide in Houston Pet Talk and you want to make the switch!

For a complete list of Wondercide’s non-toxic, effective products, visit www.wondercide.com . Let’s be part of the solution together.

I was absolutely overjoyed with the way Evolv killed the fleas on contact. I couldn't believe it....one little squirt and they didn't even twitch again

Wondercide Customer Email Excerpt:

Living in Florida in tropical conditions we never have a respite against parasites, it’s 12 months a year fight with some times being worse than other times, right now it’s the flea time and we have incredible fleas that nothing kills. Having sprayed the yard with every chemical on the shelf, powders, granules, and using spot ons, baths, dips on the dogs with no let up I was absolutely overjoyed with the way Evolv killed the fleas on contact. I couldn’t believe it….one little squirt and they didn’t even twitch again…YAY….and no poison. We’ve been having winds of 20 mph so haven’t had a chance to spray the yard without it winding up a mile away so have just been spraying the dogs.

When I did my little flea killed experiment and it worked I got on the computer and emailed all my animal friends…..YAY this works…it actually WORKS…..made me want to go out and find a tick and try it ( thank heavens we don’t have any right now)…last year we had the tick invasion and NOTHING killed them….even put right on them and they were still moving….which of course went around the neighborhood and the next street..the ticks were so bad when walking down the street you could see them coming out from the yards and crawling on the sidewalks.
