Friday (11/14/08), Wondercide™ was invited to Dr. Kessler’s Veterinary office in League City, TX. We provided pizza for her staff in exchange for taking up their precious lunch hour. It was our first “Learning Lunch” and we were asked by Dr. K to teach her staff about Wondercide’s EVOLV™, the Chemical Free, Natural, Flea & Tick Control for Pets. We also brought in BioDefense™ & EcoTreat™ which are our Indoor and Outdoor Chemical Free Pest Control Solutions. The Staff was VERY interested, receptive and had many questions. We really appreciate their interest in saving lives of dogs & cats by using Chemical Free, Natural products when possible. There he was, in the back corner, on top of a tall wire crate, Thurmon.
Thurmon and I met a few times before and we liked eachother pretty well. The staff at Dr. K’s office has joked with us for a couple weeks about adopting him. Quiet. Sweet. Sleepy Thurmon. So Friday afternoon, Wondercide Adopted Thurmon. Quiet. Sweet. Sleepy.
Thurmon was rescued from a 13 cat, 1 human household. He is a 2 yr old, Grey & White, long haired, Tabby. He’s recovering from a bladder infection that developed in his previous stressful life. He was apparently bullied by the other cats in the home which didn’t help his health much. Other than that, he seems cool, calm & collected.
Wondercide™ is excited to share a healthy, happy, future with Thurmon. He is getting used to the Pack and the new Rules (no clawing the furniture!) with better than expected ease. The 2 other cats (we’ll blog about them later) are happy to have him too…they just don’t know it yet! And he seems to really like the dogs. One thing about Quiet, Sweet, Thurmon. He’s not so quiet. He wonders around talking like a baby…literally…a baby. (We’ll load the hilarious audio soon.) Welcome Home buddy…to a place where every voice is heard.
