Sometimes, “like equals lick”  in the animal world. If they ingest a substantial amount, they may have lose stool (as oil naturally has that effect) but this is pretty rare. It is most often seen in cats who are more sensitive to everything  and clean themselves by nature.  It’s a good idea to keep the treated dog or cat in your sight for a few minutes after spraying them down. If they lick, urge them to stop. The product will dry quickly and they will move on to something else.
