What if I'm allergic to Cedar? Can I still use Wondercide products?
The oil is steamed from the tree, so there is no pollen and less chance of an allergic reaction. There are two types of allergy to Cedar, Respiratory and Skin allergies. Many of our customers with severe respiratory allergy to cedar report no noticeable effects whatsoever when using the products on themselves or property. We haven't received any reports of skin allergy either. To test, we recommend you place a small amount on your hand to ensure you have no skin allergy and spray some near you in the air for respiratory testing.
I've heard that the only thing that works on Mosquitoes is DEET. Is this true?
While DEET does generally repel mosquitoes, it is harmful to both humans and pets. There are several EPA reports and Medical Reviews on the effects of DEET. What if my pet licks themselves? Will he/she get sick?
We use USDA Certified Organic, Human Food Grade Ingredients. While we don't recommend you drink it, it is completely non toxic to pets and people of all ages. We've had customers tell us that the more the animal is sprayed, the more they like it. Sometimes, like equals lick in animal world. If they ingest a substantial amount, they may have lose stool (as oil naturally has that effect). It is most often seen in cats who are more sensitive to everything by nature. You've heard it said, "Treat the source, not the symptom" and the same is true with pest control. If you treat the property, therefore eliminating the flea life cycle, you don't need to put a lot of anything on your pets. What is a beneficial insect?
Beneficial insects are natural enemies of yard and garden pests. They control the "bad bugs" (ants, aphids, etc.) and are known as biological control to organic gardeners. Examples of "beneficials", as they are commonly referred to, are lady bugs, butterflies, bees, nematodes, etc. Broad spectrum conventional pesticides not only kill the "bad bugs," they kill the "good bugs" too. Another reason to promote beneficial insects by using chemical free Wondercide is that insects have developed unquestionable pesticide resistance. How does Wondercide kill some insects, but not Beneficials?
The answer is simple. Heat seeking, non beneficial insects are pheromone driven to food, mates, and reproduction. Because insects breathe through their bodies, Wondercide is absorbed directly into the breathing pores causing pheromone interruption. The survival of the insect relates directly to its exposure to the foreign substance. So, it repels insects by scent and kills them on contact. Beneficials, on the other hand, are Sight Driven and are not effected by pheromone interruption. The Aroma of cedar oil does not effect them neurologically or biologically simply because they are not driven by pheromones.
I have a small yard OR I have a large yard. Can you suggest something?
For land area that is a typical subdivision lot of 5,000 square feet, we suggest purchasing the EcoTreat Ready to Use hose end sprayer. For property that is larger than that, we suggest the more cost conscious,EcoTreat Pro concentrate. EcoTreat Pro can be mixed with water and used in lawn sprayers, tank sprayers, mosquito misting systems and all irrigation systems.

How does Wondercide work to eliminate Head Lice?
Wondercide BioDefense Lice Treatment should be poured or sprayed on the scalp, completely soaking it. Cover with a swim cap, shower cap or even plastic wrap (monitor children with plastic wrap method for safety). Let the solution sit for about 2 hours. You can brush the hair with a nit comb to ensure coverage. Rinse solution (and the dead lice & nits) out of hair, then wash normally. Wash all bedding in hot water and spray matresses, headboard, couch, etc. with BioDefense. Tell others...there is no need to use ineffective, toxic chemicals! Great for scalp and hair, leaving it shiny and healthy. If problem persists, repeat application. It's chemical free and won't harm children in anyway.
What is the protocol to get rid of Bird and columbella mites?
