How Does it Work?
Wondercide's formulations with Organic Cedar Oil dissolves the insect egg and larvae eliminating the next generation of arthropod. The aroma of Cedar creates a barrier of re-entry, making the treated area off limits to any flying or crawling pest. The aroma of cedar to insects is like that of ammonia to humans. All insects breathe through their bodies and close their breathing pores when they detect the aroma of cedar. It causes a flight response. If they can't evacuate the area, they suffocate themselves trying and die. For active insect populations, it is imperative to treat all indoor/outdoor areas for complete elimination. Most people look for "pest control" once they see pests. Understand that fleas, bed bugs, & mites are parasites and you can not repel them. You can only kill them. For instance, only 5% of the flea life cycle are adult fleas (the ones you see). The other 95% are in egg and larvae stages. In order to rid your home of pests, you must treat the entire property and pets (if applicable).
How Does Wondercide compare to Chemical Pesticides?
It doesn't. Insects have evolved over the years with the use of pyrethin, organophosphates, deet, and other toxic pesticides. These neuro toxins are responsible for countless deaths of humans & animals as well as destroying our ecosystem. Not only are these products unsafe, they are no longer effective.
How Long Does it Last?
Like any pest control objective, it depends on the insect or parasite. For prevention & maintenance, BioDefense is the best repellant on the market and should last 3-6 months when the outdoor environment is routinely treated with EcoTreat. As needed, spray under sinks, in pantry, closets, bathroom, laundry room, cracks & crevices or anywhere insects reside. BioDefense has a reduced flash off rate (evaporation) and when confined to any roofed area, retains a lengthy residual. It's non toxic so you can't use too much. Approved for everyday use. EcoTreat should be used twice within 4-7 days on the first treatment, then every 30 days or as needed.
