APPLICATION TIPS

When you’re ready, you can easily apply our long-term wood protection that stands up to brutal UV rays and drastic temperature extremes. All you need is PETRIFY and a compression sprayer, such as those found in the sprayer and applicator section of our site. You also can apply the treatment with paint guns, brushes or rollers. After applying, you can stain, paint or varnish your wood with great results. PETRIFY also protects wood that has already been stained or painted.

When treating decks, docks, and thicker woods, you will need one gallon of PETRIFY for every 100 square feet of area.

For fences and thinner materials, apply one gallon for every 200 square feet of surface.

For best results, apply when wood is wet and in the heat of the day.
