Read entire label for all products prior to use and use as directed. Peppermint oil has been shown in some studies to reduce natural milk production. If you or your pet are pregnant or nursing choose one of our scented Flea & Tick sprays in Cedarwood, Rosemary, or Lemongrass. Lemongrass has a natural yellow tint and may temporarily discolor light fur or fabrics. Consider another scent if you have light pets or surfaces.

Shake spray well before each use. Test a small area at the base of the neck 1 hour before full body application to check for sensitivity. This is a smart step when introducing any new product. Pets, like people, can have sensitivities to plant-powered ingredients too.

Rub your pet’s coat in the opposite direction of growth, spray, and rub in. Spray body, belly, legs, and tail. Do not soak your pet or oversaturate. A light but thorough misting ensures best results.

Spray into your hands and rub onto your pet's ears and face. Avoid spraying in mouth, nose, and eyes.

To repel bugs and prevent issues, apply to pets every 2-3 days and each time you go to an unprotected area like a dog park.

Add to your regular cleaning schedule to freshen the home and treat areas frequented by pets. Test specialty fabrics like silks and suedes before full use. This is a water-based product with oil.

While the U.S. recycling program has a long way to go, you can make a big difference. Learn what can be recycled in your area, and whether items need to be sorted. On plastic bottles, check the bottom for a number. 1-2 are widely accepted. 4-6 may be accepted. 3 and 7 are generally not recyclable.

Flea & Tick Pets + Home includes use instructions on the label for pets and focuses on treatment for fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. Indoor Pest Control Home + Kitchen has expanded label instructions for in-home use on bugs such as ants and roaches. The ingredients in these two products are the same – they are the same formula. Choose the product with the label instructions to suit your needs.

The spray will dry and not leave an oily residue. Some pet fur may feel slightly tacky until the spray has dried. Comb through the fur once the spray has dried if needed. Flea & Tick Pets + Home in lemongrass scent may temporarily discolor light fur or fabircs. If you have pets with light fur or light household surfaces, consider one of the other 3 scents we offer that are not known to have the possibility of discoloring.

That depends on the size of the bottle, the size of the pet, the thickness of thier coat, the size of the home, plus whether you're treating an active issue or maintaining control. Generally speaking, for an average size pet with an average coat, a 16 oz bottle should last about 2 months when spraying as directed to repel bugs.

They're all equally effective. Choose the scent you love the most or alternate scents to suit your mood or the season.

Early morning or late afternoon / early evening is ideal to avoid the time of day with the highest temperatures. Avoid applying when temperatures are above 90º F and in direct sunlight during high temps to avoid phytotoxic burn on the leaves of plants, which can happen even when watering your yard and garden.

Use Flea & Tick Pets + Home indoors and Flea & Tick Yard + Garden outdoors. The yard spray has not been designed for or tested with household surfaces.

Yes! The residue from our yard sprays is safe for beneficial bugs like bees and butterflies.
