Healthful ingredients in a blender before mixing for a green smoothie recipe

Once you’ve assembled your in-green-dients, all you have to do is drop them all in a blender and blend until it’s reached a consistency you desire. Pour into a cup and enjoy! If you’re wondering why these ingredients are so significant, let us explain. It’s just as important to understand why something is healthy as it is to know what is good for you.

Kale.

Kale is good for the heart and contains lots of healthy fiber and potassium.

Cucumber.

Cucumber is as low in calories as it is high in nutrients and antioxidants.

Almond milk.

Almond milk provides a healthy dairy-free richness to the mix which may also boost your antioxidants and may improve bone health. Make it fresh or find it without the preservatives.

Celery.

Celery has been said to improve memory and learning ability.

Mint.

Mint leaves have been speculated to also help lessen digestive issues.

Pineapple.

And last but not least, pineapple adds in some healthy fiber-rich sugars to turn this tornado of nutrition into a flavor-packed mouthful of goodness with its vitamin C. It may even help boost immunity.
