What if I’m allergic to cedar?
Allergies to Wondercide are very uncommon. There are two types of allergies to cedar trees: respiratory and dermal. Wondercide cedar oil is steamed from the tree, so there is no pollen and therefore no respiratory allergens. Users who have severe respiratory allergies to cedar typically report no noticeable effects when using the products on themselves or property.
To test, we recommend you place a small amount on the back of your hand for skin allergy and spray near you in the air for respiratory testing.
My pets are only indoors. How did I get fleas?
Fleas are pests that can easily hitch a ride into your home. From your shoes or pant legs, to the neighbor stopping by with pets to feral cats and other wildlife in your yard – you may never know the culprit. But rest assured, Wondercide can eliminate the problem in one treatment.

What is the difference between the Fresh Cedar, Lemongrass, Peppermint and Rosemary fragrance options?
The only difference is the fragrance. They all contain 8% active ingredients, and are equally effective. Not sure which you’ll like? Trial them all!

FOR TREATMENT OF ACTIVE PROBLEMS. Apply this powerful spray twice within 7-10 days to your outdoor areas (like the lawn and patio) to ensure you’re eliminating whatever pests are present. Start at your home and spray top to bottom. Continue onto the lawn, working your way back to the fence line. Walk at a steady pace and use a sweeping motion, slightly overlapping treated areas. Complete coverage is important, especially in shaded areas. Once control is established, the less frequently you’ll need to apply. To ensure you’re fully treating your pest problem, we recommend using in conjunction with the Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home.
FOR PREVENTION AND MAINTENANCE. For ongoing control, apply every 30-45 days, or as needed. Higher concentrations and year-round use may enhance results.
How much product do I need?
Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home pet application: Results vary based on number of pets being treated, the size of your pets, and frequency of use. The 16 oz. bottle of Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home typically lasts 1-3 months depending on your specific needs.
Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home indoor application: The 32 oz. bottle of Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home treats up to 400 square feet, whereas the gallon treats up to 1,500 square feet.
Outdoor concentrates (for application outdoors): Results vary based on usage. Please see below.
For treatment @ 8oz dilution:

What is the shelf life of your products?
Optimal storage conditions for all products are cool, dry places out of direct sunlight. Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home, Indoor Pest Control for Home + Kitchen and Insect Repellent have been tested to be good for at least one year from the production date, which is found on the bottom of the product bottle. Our outdoor ready-to-use sprays and concentrates do not have "Best By" dates; those products can be used for up to three years from the date of purchase.
How does Wondercide work? How does it kill some bugs and not others?
Cedar oil affects octopamine, which is essential to life for pheromone-driven pests like fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, flies, roaches, ants and hundreds of other insect pests. Octopamine is responsible for regulating heart rate, movement and behavior in pests. Cedar oil blocks the octopamine neurotransmitter receptors in pests, causing pests to be repelled from the area. When contacted, pests suffocate and die. Cedar oil is safe for mammals, birds, fish, amphibians and beneficial insects, because they do not utilize octopamine neurotransmitters in the same way that the pheromone-driven pests do.
What is ethyl lactate?
Ethyl lactate is a non-GMO corn oil byproduct. Ethyl lactate is listed by the US FDA as Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS). As the surfactant in Flea & Tick Spray for Yard + Garden, Flea and Tick for Yard+Garden, Outdoor Pest Control for Yard + Garden and Home & Garden, ethyl lactate allows the cedar oil to mix with water. When mixed, the concentrate becomes ready to use.
Will Wondercide leave an oily residue or stain?
No. While Wondercide products are oil-based, they dry rather quickly, leaving dogs, cats, furniture, bedding and flooring grease and stain-free. For specialty fabrics such as satin, leather and suede, we recommend testing a discreet area prior to a full application.
Can I use Flea & Tick Control for Yard + Garden or EcoTreat inside?
Our Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home product will kill pests likes fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and flies directly by contact whereas the Flea and Tick for Yard+Garden and the Outdoor Pest Control concentrates work to eliminate these pests over a period of about a week. Because of this, the Pets+Home formula is the recommended product for use inside of your home if you are treating for an active infestation. We always advise following label directs when applying our products.
How do I treat my home with Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home?
To treat an active flea or tick problem indoors, simply spray all surfaces – flooring, upholstery, rugs, etc. – from the bottle or using a compression sprayer to quickly and easily treat the issue.
The compression sprayer offers a fine mist and continuous spray, making it easy to move throughout your home while applying Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home to all surfaces. For homes with cats, be sure to treat any high up places where your feline friend may sleep or play, like bookshelves, cabinets, cat trees, etc.
The new formulation is water based, and home furnishings are made from a variety of materials with different tolerances to moisture. Therefore, after product application, all surfaces should be wiped down until dry as a preventative measure
Can I purchase the old Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home?

Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home is human grade and contains therapeutic-grade essential oils as the active ingredients. While we have three aromatherapeutic fragrances: Cedar, Lemongrass, and Rosemary, they each contain 8% active ingredients and are equally effective, so choosing one over the other is just a matter of personal preference.

Is it safe if my pet licked some of the product off?
Our products are made from 100% naturally-derived, human-grade ingredients and will not harm your pets if inadvertently consumed or licked off. However, we usually advise customers to discourage their pets from licking too much product off, as the repellent qualities may be lessened if groomed completed from the coat."
I’ve read cedar oil can be toxic to cats. Are Wondercide Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Homr products safe for cats?
Yes! Wondercide Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home products are safe for cats. We use cat-safe cedar oil, which is properly diluted and doesn't contain phenols or phenolic compounds. This is important because cats do not have the liver enzyme to detoxify phenols found in many essential oils; that's why essential oils have a bad rap among cat crowds. But rest assured, Wondercide products made with cedar oil are formulated to be natural and phenol-free. Independent lab tests verify our products don’t contain any phenolic compounds, so you can feel good about using our Flea & Tick Spray on your cats. We work hard to ensure superior product quality, performance and safety. TIP: the 4 oz. spray is perfect for cats because it’s less intimidating than bigger spray bottles and applies the proper amount of solution per spray.

Can I use Wondercide with conventional flea medications or spot drops?
We’re confident you’ll find you may discontinue use of conventional products with regular use of Wondercide. We always recommend testing any new products you introduce to your pets or enviornment about eight hours prior to a full application to ensure there are no sensitivities.
Can I use Wondercide on birds and chickens?
Birds and chickens have very sensitive respiratory systems, so we do not recommend using Wondercide products directly on them. If you are treating the inside of your home, remove birds prior to treatment and for 3-4 hours after application. If you are treating outdoors, it is safe to spray the environment where birds and/or chickens live, but do not recommend spraying these animals directly.
Can I use Wondercide on horses?

Yes! Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home is safe for dogs and cats of all ages. We recommend testing any new product you introduce to your pet or environment eight hours prior to a full application to ensure there are no sensitivities. Follow label instructions for best results.
Do I need to remove my pets from the yard before treating outdoors?
No! It is safe to spray your yard with pets present. There is no wait time or drying necessary for re-entry – simply spray and play!
Are Wondercide products safe to use around expecting mothers?
Yes! Wondercide products are safe for pregnant women. Natural Insect Repellent can be safely used on expecting mothers and Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home can be used around them. Consult your physician regarding any specific sensitivities you may have.

Do you ship your pest control products to all fifty of the United States?
No. We are not able to ship pest control products to Indiana at this time as our labels are not registered with the state. Fortunately, we are able to sell all of our other products in Indiana. That includes our skin care products, ear care drops, supplements, treats and toys. If we sell pest control products into Indiana in the future, we will notify our customer base.
Are there shipping fees?
We offer FREE shipping on orders over $49 sent within the contiguous United States (including Alaska and Hawaii). The free shipping option is economy shipping and may be sent via USPS, UPS SurePost or UPS Ground at the company's discretion. This free shipping offer is currently not available for international shipping. Wondercide is not responsible for international taxes or tariffs.

How do I track my package?
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. Tracking information may take 3-12 hours to update after the label is created. Tracking information may also be found by logging into your account.
My tracking number shows my package was delivered, but it’s not at my home – where could it be?
Check with your neighbors, apartment building office, or anywhere else in your immediate area where the carrier may have left your package. We also recommend checking your emailed receipt to ensure that your package was shipped to the correct address. No luck?
