How to Use
Read entire label for all products prior to use and use as directed. Safe for daily use when used as directed. Go slow and acclimate skittish pets to the scent if needed.
- 1 Shake well before each use.
- 2 Test a small area at the base of the neck 1 hour before full body application to check for sensitivity. This is a smart step when introducing any new product. Pets, like people, can have sensitivities to plant-powered ingredients too.
- 3 Rub your pet’s coat in the opposite direction of growth, spray, and rub in. Spray body, belly, legs, and tail. Do not soak your pet or oversaturate. A light but thorough misting ensures best results.
- 4 Spray into your hands and rub onto your pet's ears and face. Avoid spraying in mouth, nose, and eyes.
- 5 For continuous protection, reapply daily, every 24 hours. Apply before going to an area not protected by Wondercide such as a dog park or on a hike.
For Cats —
Since cats can be skittish around large spray bottles, consider the 4oz spray. Spray into your hands or a cloth and massage on to your cat.
For an active flea issue —
Treat pets: Spray pets daily with Flea & Tick Pets + Home until you no longer see live fleas. Optional but helpful steps: Use Flea & Tick Shampoo once per week to kill fleas on pets. Use Flea & Tick Collar for a layer of ongoing repellency.
Treat the home: Do a thorough, whole-house treatment. Cover as much surface area in the home as possible to ensure best results. On subsequent days following the whole-house treatment, focus on spraying areas your pet frequents and favorites, like bedding, carpets/rugs, and furniture until you no longer see live fleas.
If you have a yard: It’s important to kill and repel fleas at the source. Doing so will help you take care of the problem on pets and in the home faster. Apply Flea & Tick Yard + Garden every few days until control is established and desired results are achieved. Thorough coverage is important. Then, for maintenance, spray every 30-45 days or as often as needed to prevent new infestations.
Note on Lemongrass and Peppermint oil —
Peppermint oil has been shown in some studies to reduce natural milk production. If you or your pet are pregnant or nursing choose one of our scented Flea & Tick sprays in Cedarwood, Rosemary, or Lemongrass.
Lemongrass has a natural yellow tint and may temporarily discolor light fur or fabrics. Consider another scent if you have light pets or surfaces.

Pets + Home has more specific directions for pet owners, while Home + Kitchen is more generally labeled for home use. Both sprays work to kill and control a variety of pests.
Does Flea & Tick Pets + Home leave a stain or oily residue?
No, Wondercide Flea & Tick Pets + Home should not leave an oily residue or stain pets or household surfaces. While Wondercide sprays contain essential oils, they are water-soluble. They will dry rather quickly, leaving pets, furniture, bedding, and flooring stain-free. For specialty surfaces, such as fabrics like satin, leather, and suede, we recommend testing a discrete area prior to a full application.
The lemongrass scent can occasionally cause mild discoloration of light-colored fur after extended use. Not to worry, the discoloration is not permanent and will naturally fade once discontinued. How to Use
Read entire label prior to use and use as directed.
- 1 Remove collar from box and bag inside. Remove and discard the inner nylon strip by pulling on the round tab on the inner side of the collar.
- 2 Fasten the collar around pet’s neck. Be sure two fingers fit between the collar and neck.
- 3 Trim excess length of collar beyond the buckle, leaving a couple inches to hold onto when you're ready to remove the collar.
- 4 Replace collar every 4 months or as needed.
- 5 Flea & Tick Collar is water resistant, not waterproof. Remove before bathtime or swims.

Does this collar actually kill pests?
Wondercide Collar repels but doesn’t kill fleas or ticks. It offers full body protection and will repel fleas and ticks when used as directed. Because fleas and ticks can spread throughout the home and yard, we recommend protecting your yard if you have one with Flea & Tick Yard + Garden. Use Flea & Tick Pets + Home as an added layer of protection when pest pressure is high or when visiting dog parks or other areas not protected by Wondercide.
Do the Flea & Tick collars have an expiration date?
When kept in the packaging, the collars are good for up to 4 years from the time of purchase. Once removed from the bag and activated, the collar will repel against fleas and ticks for up to 4 months.
Can these collars get wet? Are they waterproof?
The Flea & Tick Collar is water resistant; however, it’s not waterproof. Remove the collar before bathtime or swimming by simply pulling the collar back through the buckle. Then, put it back on afterward. It's fine if your pet gets caught in a bit of rain or takes a quick dip.
Does this collar have a safety feature to prevent injury around the neck?
Yes, Wondercide Flea & Tick Collar for cats has a breakaway feature. The buckle is held by friction, not a lock, so once too much tension is applied, it breaks apart to protect your pet. The dog collar does not have the same breakaway feature.
Can my small dog wear a cat collar instead of the dog collar?
The dog and cat Collars are similar, with the exception of two things. The cat collar is much shorter, but it can fit dogs with a neck size up to 13". It also has a breakaway feature that the dog collar does not have. Because cats can get into trickier situations, we recommend using only the cat collar for cats.
