How to Use
Read entire label for all products prior to use and use as directed. Safe for daily use when used as directed. Go slow and acclimate skittish pets to the scent if needed.
- 1 Shake well before each use.
- 2 Test a small area at the base of the neck 1 hour before full body application to check for sensitivity. This is a smart step when introducing any new product. Pets, like people, can have sensitivities to plant-powered ingredients too.
- 3 Rub your pet’s coat in the opposite direction of growth, spray, and rub in. Spray body, belly, legs, and tail. Do not soak your pet or oversaturate. A light but thorough misting ensures best results.
- 4 Spray into your hands and rub onto your pet's ears and face. Avoid spraying in mouth, nose, and eyes.
- 5 For continuous protection, reapply daily, every 24 hours. Apply before going to an area not protected by Wondercide such as a dog park or on a hike.
For Cats —
Since cats can be skittish around large spray bottles, consider the 4oz spray. Spray into your hands or a cloth and massage on to your cat.
For an active flea issue —
Treat pets: Spray pets daily with Flea & Tick Pets + Home until you no longer see live fleas. Optional but helpful steps: Use Flea & Tick Shampoo once per week to kill fleas on pets. Use Flea & Tick Collar for a layer of ongoing repellency.
Treat the home: Do a thorough, whole-house treatment. Cover as much surface area in the home as possible to ensure best results. On subsequent days following the whole-house treatment, focus on spraying areas your pet frequents and favorites, like bedding, carpets/rugs, and furniture until you no longer see live fleas.
If you have a yard: It’s important to kill and repel fleas at the source. Doing so will help you take care of the problem on pets and in the home faster. Apply Flea & Tick Yard + Garden every few days until control is established and desired results are achieved. Thorough coverage is important. Then, for maintenance, spray every 30-45 days or as often as needed to prevent new infestations.

Pets + Home has more specific directions for pet owners, while Home + Kitchen is more generally labeled for home use. Both sprays work to kill and control a variety of pests.
Does Flea & Tick Pets + Home leave a stain or oily residue?
No, Wondercide Flea & Tick Pets + Home should not leave an oily residue or stain pets or household surfaces. While Wondercide sprays contain essential oils, they are water-soluble. They will dry rather quickly, leaving pets, furniture, bedding, and flooring stain-free. For specialty surfaces, such as fabrics like satin, leather, and suede, we recommend testing a discrete area prior to a full application.

After applying Flea & Tick Spot On, the plant-powered essential oils spread across the pet’s skin surface through the natural oily layer called sebaceous lipids. For proper application, squeeze the oil directly onto the skin along the spine, not on top of the fur. This helps ensure your dog or cat’s coat feels normal and not oily. After a day or so, the oil should be fully spread and no longer noticeable.

When kept in the packaging, the collars are good for up to 4 years from the time of purchase. Once removed from the bag and activated, the collar will repel against fleas and ticks for up to 4 months.

Yes, Wondercide Flea & Tick Collar for cats has a breakaway feature. The buckle is held by friction, not a lock, so once too much tension is applied, it breaks apart to protect your pet. The dog collar does not have the same breakaway feature.
Can my small dog wear a cat collar instead of the dog collar?
The dog and cat Collars are similar, with the exception of two things. The cat collar is much shorter, but it can fit dogs with a neck size up to 13". It also has a breakaway feature that the dog collar does not have. Because cats can get into trickier situations, we recommend using only the cat collar for cats.
